  • Google is testing a ChatGPT-inspired homepage. The alternate homepage uses a chatbot called “Apprentice Bard” to deliver answers to questions in a conversational style.
  • Instagram co-founders launch new text app Artifact. Their goal is to create “TikTok for news,” with an algorithmically-suggested feed that doesn’t require you to follow anyone.
  • Meta unsure about sharing ad revenue with Reels creators. Now that Instagram’s TikTok clone is starting to pick up steam, the company is hesitant to ramp up ads and open up rev share to creators.
